After starting a project to create their dream kitchen and falling short of the desired outcome, Charles and Lorenza got in touch to see if we could help. Hoping that we could improve the poor workmanship that had gone before, our first meeting was a home visit. When we arrived, it was obvious why they weren’t happy and to make their vision come to life we suggested starting again.
After considering their options Charles and Lorenza appointed Cherrywood. We started the kitchen from scratch and made the necessary changes to the functionality of the room. Offering some valuable suggestions we were able to incorporate some new ideas.
Charles and Lorenza were keen to keep the layout of the space the same which we agreed with. The only change to the layout came from increasing the length of the sink peninsular. This gave more work surface and to allowed space below for a usable bin system.
The look and style of this project is a mixture of shaker with hints of sleek Italian style. Using contrasting colours throughout.
The space incorporates a peninsular where the sink sits perfectly and we added some of our own design and functionality to the existing layout.
Materials used – Oak veneered ply cabinets, Tulip cabinet frames, doors and drawer fronts, Solid European oak drawers with dovetails.

“We asked Luke to carry out a full refurbishment of our kitchen. From the very beginning it was a pleasure to work with him. He is easy to talk to, always open to ideas and has many good suggestions regarding the maximisation of the space. He was always happy to talk trough an issue in detail, regardless of how major or minor it was. The planning of the installation was very precise insuring that there was minimal disruption to the household. What was obvious as the installation proceeded was the very high level of craftsmanship and the way in which the construction of the units was of the highest order. We now have a beautiful and very functional kitchen. We have no hesitation in recommending Luke Cherry for planning, construction and installation of bespoke kitchens.” Charles and Lorenza
