Bedroom & Ensuite – Wardington, Oxfordshire

Posted by Rhian Burrell, on January 6, 2022.

THE BRIEF:

Our clients for this Oxfordshire based bedroom project were recommended to us through a previous customer. After taking a good look around our website they made contact through the website form and follow up phone calls.

Our customers had been in their countryside farm house for some time and described it as ‘shabby chic’ and in real need of some attention, they had contemplated moving before deciding to complete a total home renovation. Initially our discussions revolved around updating some bedroom furniture but quickly became far more than that, and ended up including 6 rooms within the house. We took on the project management role as well as the furniture and kitchen design, build and fit.

The brief for this bedroom suite was to give it a total over-haul. Our clients wanted full re-decoration, new flooring, his and hers wardrobes and new lighting.

The Vision

To complement the updates happening throughout the rest of the house we kept things simple and opted for Shaker style design for the furniture and panelling. All cabinetry was painted in Little Greene French Grey no.113 with burnished brass hardware.

We enlisted Lydia Cherry Design as an interior design lead and worked closely with all trades to ensure the whole project ran smoothly.
